Moe the Eagle Beaulieu is an accomplished Ultra Runner, Former Race Director, and CANCER SURVIVOR, having survived throat cancer after almost a year in treatment and recovery.
After losing 40 lbs, unable to run for over 3 months, barely walking for the next 3 months.....this was his first absence from running in just over 31 years!
But Now Moe is back...
In 2012, his first year back with less than 6 months of training, he finished 2x50 Km trail runs in Winthrop, WA and Kelowna, BC but sadly failed at his Leadville, Co 100 mile attempt, so DNF'd there, and did a 50 mile run in Edmonton,AB.
As a Veteran Ultra Marathoner Moe has now run 121 Ultras of 50kms or more. And, at 68 he is not planning to stop doing these runs anytime soon.
